Minted Magic: How NFTs Come to Life

An NFT (Non-Fungible Token) starts with a digital file—like an image, video, or piece of music. The creator uploads this file to a blockchain platform (such as Ethereum or Solana) using a digital wallet. Then, they “mint” the NFT, which means turning the file into a unique token recorded on the blockchain.

This token acts like a certificate of ownership. It proves who owns the digital item and tracks its history—like who created it, who bought it, and for how much. Once minted, the NFT can be sold, traded, or held, just like a collectible.

Because it’s on the blockchain, it can’t be copied or faked. That’s what makes it valuable.

In short: Create digital item → Upload to blockchain → Mint NFT → Own, sell, or trade.

From Code to Soul: My Journey to Quantum Primates

Thirty-five years ago data science didn’t exist. But I saw something in the rows of code: I saw patterns, rhythm, meaning. To me, data was never just numbers. It was the magic in plain sight. A matrix that sings reality.

I pursued a doctorate in Nuclear Physics at Oxford University to go deeper. To understand the invisible forces shaping our world. But my fascination wasn’t just with equations—it was with the poetry hidden in logic. I wanted others to see what I saw: beauty in structure, emotion in algorithms.

That vision led me to create Quantum Primates.

This isn’t random digital art. It’s art of life. Of DNA. Each Quantum Primate is built from five traits—Fur, Eyes, Lips, Hair, and Dress. Each trait has 29 layers, resulting in over 20 million possible combinations. Yet only 100 were minted. That’s rarity with intention.

I wrote the algorithm that assembled them. I constrained certain traits to make them special—like the single NFT wearing a queen’s crown:

Each Primate’s “genetic” makeup is displayed beside it, a nod to the mathematics behind the soul:

But I didn’t leave it all to code.

I reviewed every line, every combination. I asked myself: Does this feel right? Because no algorithm can replicate human intuition. And no machine can replace the spark that makes life truly special.

Quantum Primates is my way of translating code into emotion. It’s a bridge between logic and soul. And it’s my invitation to you—to see the magic, and maybe even own a piece of it.

Me and my queen:
